Position Title: Store Associate

Reports To: Store Manager

Purpose of Position:

The purpose of this role is to provide Ethos clients with elevated salon support through product knowledge and comprehensive communication of educational and promotional opportunities. Furthermore, a Sales Associate would assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and utilize their experience to establish customer relationships, seek growth, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for the team and clients alike.

Position Summary:

A Store Associate, reporting to the Store Manager, is responsible for assisting with daily operations including but not limited to customer service, execution of merchandising and promotional plans, and inventory replenishment and put away.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Basic training of POS operating system in order to effectively complete customer transactions
  • Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to internal sales and external customers
  • Responding to order inquiries via email, phone or in-person
  • Assist with weekly replenishment put away
  • Reviewing Insider for awareness of current promotions, focus items and education
  • Reviewing literature for product knowledge to effectively relay information to customers
  • Resolve any discrepancies in calm, professional manner

Experience/Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One to three years of previous Customer Service experience
  • Cosmetology license/experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Must be able to walk and stand up to 50% of the workday to perform duties.
  • Must be able to perform desk/computer work from either a sitting or standing position.
